So who do you want promoted?
1 Derby - Personal reasons really as I have good West Ham mates in and around Derby, easy journey and ground close to the station and some decent watering holes

2 Cardiff - One of the biggest turn arounds in places to visit, I remember the old days of being surrounded by Welsh Old Bill and marched from the station to the fearsome Ninian Park under constant threat at being attacked by a sheep. Now Cardiff is a brilliant vibrant city with a new stadium within easy distance of the centre and their fans now offer little at home in terms of a threat.

3 Sheffield Wednesday - Would love to see this grand old football club back in the big time. decent traditional ground and although there's not a great deal of places to drink close to the ground, the city is just a short tram ride away.

4 Brighton - Only visited the new ground once of course, pain in the arse where they have build it and would no doubt be a midweek clash as we wrecked havoc there on more than one occasion. As a place I don't really like it, seem up it's own arse (and others) far too much but enough decent pubs and an easy journey from London.

5 Boro - Not quiet as far as the other two North East clubs that could go down, not as bad as it seems on first impressions with the stadium close to the town and station and the stadium it self is one of the better new builds

6 Hull - Easy enough journey and their fans bark is far worse than their bite. Close enough to the station which has several decent pubs close at hand.

7 Burnley - Been a few times recently and the train journey is a pain, pubs are decent enough and the stations are close enough to the ground. The cricket club is shit.

8 Birmingham - Negatives, their fans can still be on the nutty side and nothing close to the ground for drinking. Positives, Easy, cheap journey and plenty of pubs close to New Street

9 Ipswich - Just find the whole place a little dull with limited places to drink, on the plus side its a straight forward journey.

What say the good people (and the cunts) of WHO

I'd love it to be Fulham for the boat trip. Got a liking for Wednesday and Forest was always a good away day.
Burnley, Boro and Hull can fuck right off, but it might be them.

Derby - Loved the away days there, good set of fans

Boro - My Dad's team and my second

Sheff Wednesday - it's time for this big fan base to return to the big time. Good away days also.

Outside of Championship, love to see Braintree do it....4th In National Conference. We think Premier League has no regard for fans, part timers having to travel to Torquay for a Tuesday evening kick off. Insane !

Sheffield Wednesday.

The Fat Cat and the Kelham Island Tavern, two of the best boozers in the country.

I'll admit it...I'm all about the pubs!

Re: So who do you want promoted?
1. Burnley - I live less than 10 miles away.
2. Sheffield Wednesday - great club, ground and city; also, I went to university there.

Huddersfield is a fantastic day out, but they are obviously well down the table.

Re: So who do you want promoted?
1. Boro, as they'll owe as a million or two more for the Downing transfer.

Eventually I'm going to fuck London off and live on the coast somewhere.

The 'boro. The economic boost to the area that comes with promotion would be most welcome.

Re: So who do you want promoted?
Personally I'd love to see Brighton (Mum's from Brighton, that half are all Brighton), Sheff Weds (PROPER football club that would grace the Prem again) and the rest I'm not bothered.

I know they both aren't going up, even one of them isn't that likely so my head is saying Middlesboro (for the Downing money and to lord it over the two NE 'giants' they may be passing) and Hull and Burnley, again for the money and Burnley will keep the claret and blue equilibrium steady as we say goodbye and goodnight to Villa.

Re: So who do you want promoted?
WE want Boro, Hull and Burnley.

Boro because we get the Downing money.
The other 2 as if they come up the parachute payments COME back to all Premier League clubs. Works out about £1 million PER team.

Sniper 2:28 Tue Mar 8
Re: So who do you want promoted?
Burnley as dyche deserves it
Sheffield Wednesday as they deserve it
Middlesbrough so we get extra money from the downing deal

4th choice - Brighton

Weds, Cardiff and Burnley.

Re: So who do you want promoted?
Yeah I've been to watch him a few times this season and in the Championship he's mustard... interesting to see how he may do in the Prem. Hopefully he'll get his chance with Preston or someone else... was on the bench for the Villa first team loads of times but never made it onto the pitch once in a competitive match!
